Having Debbie be Driscoll's daughter would be soap opera-ish and be even worse than the Kim-chased-by-a-mountain-lion-in-the-desert storyline from seasons past.

I do think it's a little too early in the series, especially for a show like 24, to be calling anything extraneous or distracting. Let's suppose Driscoll is a mole and she's a mole because she's trying to obtain non-approved drugs that would cure her daughter's condition. Yeah, I know that sounds hokey, but I'm not a screenwriter either. It's too early to know what road that storyline may lead to - it may be the basis for the second half of the season (which in the past has had a different focus from the first half). Aisha's presence may prove to be the storyline that goes nowhere. Give love a chance, people.
