Ok, I just watched all 4 hours, and it has been
terrific
!! Because this is the 4th year, I think it gets lost how original and daring the show actually is. It's hard to believe a show with this many characters, storylines, minority characters, and action was put on the air.
I love the moral questions this season has produced so far; how far should people go in the name of their country and their religion? How far should the U.S. go in violating inidividual liberties if national security is in question? I know the show often exposes these things, but this season is taking place at such an interesting time politically, that it takes has great resonance for me.
Please
let Shoreh Aghdashloo get the Emmy nomination (and maybe the win) that Penny Johnson Jerald and Sarah Clarke never got. She has been fabulous so far, and the expression she gave when hugging her son after getting off the phone with the father was incredible. She expressed so much with only her eyes.
And I never thought I would say this, but I actually like Chloe. She isn't annoying me like last year; maybe because her storyline actually pertains to the plot? She is also getting some emotional stuff, and Rajskub was great.
My only problem was that plot with Driscoll's daughter. Why do they always feel a need to have these extraneous plots?? They do nothing but distract from the main story.
Overall grade - A

Can someone give me a summary? Thanks!
