Survivor 1 - Richard and some of the others had the fortune of competing against people who were high on 'morality.' Pagong resisted alliances, and even Kelly backed away for moral reasons. Apparently a lot of them thought the show was supposed to be about surviving the elements, not surviving a social game. I wonder how Richard would have done had he debuted in the 2nd or 3rd season.

The Apprentice 3 - Danny was just so fake to me; isn't the polyester suit as cliche for 'original' people as pocket protectors are for nerds? I think the guitar has become the secondary accessory, too. Todd definitely seemed to be a poor PM, but Danny should have done better at marketing considering that's what he does for a living. Of course, the final sales tallies were fairly close (both teams sold 100-200 burgers), so there was more to it all than we saw.

Maybe you were all faster than me
We gave each other up so easily
These silly little wounds will never mend
I feel so far from where I've been
