OK you really need to explain how the hell did she seem as an imitation of... ME?!

Oh, that's meant as a compliment to you. She was always posting her pictures, as though she were cute. And her general demeanor seemed like she was trying to be Julia K v. 2.0. And the fact that she got your sloppy seconds with Moran. There's a film called Single White Female that comes to mind. :p

In what way - particular comments about TV shows or the cynicism in general?

Now's probably a good time for me to make a distinction between sarcasm and cynicism, the former being good, the latter not always so. I've also been at that board(as a lurker) for longer than even CW. Just certain analysis and one-liners you've made over the years here and CW have been things I originally saw at Sucks. What does that mean, am I calling you a plagiarist? No, of course not, you're brilliant enough to come up with them on your own, so it's not intentional. Everyone draws on influences, though for most it's from real life, so particular bitches like me can't point them out as easily. ;)

*Is it far fetched for me to think that Dav's comment on me needing to "find my own voice" was inspired by Whitney's AT&T commercial?*

:grin I wanted to put it in terms you'd relate to. But yes, often it seems you're just trying on personalities to see how they fit(with some you NEED to have kept the receipt)--I want you to find your authentic "true voice". Not an easy task, I should add, but you're up to it, I know.

Whitney masterpiece I'm feeling at the moment: God Bless America, live in NYC in 1999. In this patriotic sequel to her legendary SSB performance, Whitney does what she does best: Combines earth-shattering power, clarity, and range, with a torn-from-the-gut gospelicious flair.
