If you take the previous episode about the couple and combine it with last night's episode, that's an Oscar contender for Best Picture, Best Actor, and Best Actress. The scene between Jin and his father was so well-done I couldn't believe it (and was moved to tears), and the silent acting by Kim and Kim was incredible. I doubt they will get any Emmy recognition because they aren't featured too often, but they have done more in 2 episodes than most actors do in a season.
The only negatives for me were Shannon/Sayid (I get their relationship on an intellectual level, but I wish it would have been explored a bit more before they hooked up) and then the final scene to "Delicate." That is an all-time favorite song of mine, but that whole sequence seemed too Hollywood. I know they tried to poke fun at it by having Hurley's battery run out, but even that seemed out of place with the tone of the show.
Speaking of Hurley, anyone notice him on the TV screen that little girl was watching?

keening vocals and a song selection of tremulous grace,
thrills with authenticity and emotion..." -
