It was really both sides contributing to the failure. Audrey didn't really give Craig and John much direction at all in their marketing/promotion and Craig and John were quick to put everything at her feet and give her a hard time.
John has always comes across as a blowhard and that comment of Audrey being beautiful and a sweetheart was incredibly condescending and sexist. And something that has been going on for a while now (dating back to the first season I think) that I also find sexist/condescending is the men pulling the chair for the women. Someone who does that on a date is a gentleman. Someone who does that in a boardroom is an ass.
I'm also getting ticked off with the editing of this show. Was there any doubt from the beginning of this episode as to which team was going to lose (and even who was going to be fired)? They showed all this conflict going on with Networth and goofy soundtrack being played to Audrey's ridiculous argument for being PM (

, indeed Carolyn) that there was absolutely no tension as to who was going to come out on top in the end.
I know I shouldn't pass judgment but anyone who chews tobacco ... ugh. Disgusting. It is so trashy, low-class, and repulsive. I'm not a fan of nicotine in general but chewing tobacco in particular is fucking gross. Landon from the Real World is a big offender as well.

Speaking of which how fucked up are Sara's parents??? Jesus. Okay her mother does have cancer but I don't see the correlation between that and her incredibly insensitive comments to her. No wonder she is so fucked up. And I also want to single out the sister for being such a bitch by making a point to call Sara up and tell her what her mother said about her weight. What an ass thing to do.

Lost
JJ Abrams kicks ass. He seems to really love putting supernatural elements into his story. I don't know if supernatural is really the right word but he certainly doesn't like doing completely realistic shows (i.e. the numbers in "Lost", Rambaldi in "Alias", going back in time in "Felicity"). Thought that the crib that Locke made for Claire's baby was really sweet. I guess we'll never know how Locke knew that the kid started the fire.

Alias
Personally I liked the re-introduction of Sark. I've always been a fan and plus it also gives us a villain for this year. I would have preferred him being caught and Anna escaping but that's okay.

American Idol
Those that got kicked off of American Idol deserved to go IMO. Well there was one person that I felt really should have gotten the heave-ho and that was Janay. I absolutely love "Hit 'Em Up Style" and she really had no business singing that song.
