I'm not sure if the commercials addressed the "gayness," but I remember alot of talk on shows like "The View" and "Regis & Kelly" and "E! News" as well as the internet talk.

Ricky, why is it so hard to believe that people saw it coming? With Bree being the way she is, her having a gay son is gonna produce an endless amount drama-filled episodes. Andrew being gay makes perfect sense.

ETA: I just LOVED it when Bree's daughter told her mother, "Sorry, but you are the last one who should be giving advice on sex and happiness" (not direct quote, sorry), and kissed her on the cheek. I was rollin'!
