Who cares that she's kicking 'major ass' in every challenge when her team has lost all the immunity challenges and is down 9 to 2 going into a merge (if there is even a merge to be had)? Eventaully, Stephenie fans (if she hasn't ) are going to have to accept Stephenie's responsibility in every boneheaded move ULONG has made from the beginning. Stephenie from SURVIVOR has been a moron pretty much every step of the way:

A. Jumped off the boat way too soon and somehow thought she'd be able to beat a boat to the shore by swimming.

B. After they lost the first immunity challenge, rather than step back and assess the entire situation, supported Jolanda's gunning for Angie while resenting Jolanda for the team's loss, and ultimately Ashlee/James' gunning for Jolanda - at which point, the women in the tribe lost their advantage to the men in the tribe.

C. This boot set in motion the 'no leader' tone at Ulong which has arguably been the source for their dysfunction as a tribe. Nobody wants to step up and make suggestions for winning strategies for fear of being perceived as a leader. So now we have a shitload of confessionals from Angie and Steph bitching about the team's poor performance. Any criticism (despite how constructive) is going to be taken as bossiness and dealt with thanks to the atmosphere created by every one who voted for Jolanda in that first IC (with the exception of Angie, as she was the other consideration for boot).

D. Losing aside, they finally get down to a team of 6 where they're locked 3 men vs. 3 women, with the third woman being absolutely useless in challenges and in camp life. What other choice do they have but to vote out the women and lose their numerical advantage for good?

E. Now they're down to 5 with plans to vote out Ibrehem because of his poor performance in the challenge. A wrench gets thrown in the mix and no longer have Ibe as an option. So the two women who were previously thumping their chest about stepping up to the plate in the challenges decide to go for their strongest male, with no knowledge of whether they're merging or not. For some reason they have an alliance with James, who didn't even honor it by voting out ANGIE, thus resulting in the tie between BJ and ANGIE. Stupid Stephenie, backed in a corner, has to vote out the only other woman left.

F. Now they're down to 4. Even after James' duplicity, she remains in an alliance with him until Bobby Jon gets to talking to her, where she's forced to lie about voting for him last week. Now she's forced into an alliance with Bobby Jon and is going to tribal council with two voting commitments. She honors James with the first tie and then has to dump off another alliance partner in a revote. Down to 3.

G. They're at the next immunity challenge and somehow arrive at the brilliant idea for Bobby Jon to oversee the puzzle challenge. Having to switch halfway through, they end up losing again. Now she's at the mercy of Bobby Jon, who like her in the previous episode, now has two commitments (although he made no promises to Ibe, they have a strong connection). His waffling makes her go running off to Ibrehem in a DESPERATE move for a backup plan, but fortunately, Bobby Jon proving to be truer to his word than she, saves her.

And you think Stephenie hasn't been a disaster? Stephenie's cute. She's a good athlete. I liked her in the beginning and she might be a great person to know in real life. But she's been as much as disaster as anyone playing on ULONG. The idea of her going before she deserves to is ludicrous as she's had a hand in just about every boneheaded move ULONG has made. Stephenie might kick ass at an 'individual game', but unfortunately her, the individual game has yet to start and IF she's around for it, she's at a huge disadvantage and unlike Chris (from VANUATU), she can't possibly convince anyone that she isn't a physical threat.
