OMG!!! The file with whitney singing SAMLFY etc. was geat. I loved YGGL the high notes were just It really sounds like she is coming back.

Isn't it? I was stunned at how great she sounded at the concerts in Germany and Asia last year. I was beginning to lose faith and then *bam* she proves my sorry ass wrong. :p

BTW, do you happen to have a video file of her performance of GLOA at the Arista 15th Anniversary celebration? That performance gives me the chills.

No! Does anyone? I lost the mp3 too. :(

That whole concert is just excellent

Isn't it? I just saw the video of her singing TSSB at that concert recently. :eek Erik, you have to see the Love Medley from the Welcome Home Heroes concert. That is just unbeatable.

A little off-topic, but one thing I'm loving is her appearance on Arsenio in 1991 with Stevie. Has anyone seen the interview portions?? She is unbelievably candid about being booed at Soul Train, about being intimate with Eddie Murphy, etc. And Stevie is voicing opposition to the Persian Gulf war which is interesting. And Roseanne, of all people, is there! This was right before WH sang TSSB at the Superbowl, and Roseanne is giving her tips, like "Don't grab your crotch!" :lol This is the same interview with Guide Me O Thou Great Jehovah. Just an amazing appearance.

Whitney masterpiece I'm feeling at the moment: God Bless America, live in NYC in 1999. In this patriotic sequel to her legendary SSB performance, Whitney does what she does best: Combines earth-shattering power, clarity, and range, with a torn-from-the-gut gospelicious flair.
