I remember that interview. It was a real treat for me to have to stay up that late because I was so young.

Aww! I've never seen it! She and Arsenio had such synergy together! I loved too when she was singing How Will I Know like how a white person would sing it. :lol And when she closes her eyes and gives the Guide Me impromptu performance. :eek It reminded me of the Primetime interview, where she talked about singing in church and how she would just close her eyes and let the gospel flow out of her mouth. About that Joan Rivers interview---is it me or is she just as skinny there as she was at the MJ Concert special? She said stress makes her lose weight--I wonder if that period was stressful. I'm sure it was as she was adjusting to blowing up the charts.

Yeah, if you really think about it, having Teddy as a duet partner is just as strange as having her brother do it. :lol

I haven't seen that performance, but I've heard it. She sang the shit out of that medley

Dude. Bro. You have to SEE it. The whole way it was staged was lovely. I wish she put that much heart and soul into the recorded version of DWAHIA. And she looks RED hot! She's in this lowcut red dress...just unbeatably gorgeous.

Drea, I'm pimping University Housing for now(Yay! Don't have utility bills! Free ethernet! Free phone!), but we'll hook up in 2007. ;)

Whitney masterpiece I'm feeling at the moment: God Bless America, live in NYC in 1999. In this patriotic sequel to her legendary SSB performance, Whitney does what she does best: Combines earth-shattering power, clarity, and range, with a torn-from-the-gut gospelicious flair.
