What exactly was the label supposed to push at radio? In my opinion, the only "singles" - and I use the term loosely - were already proffered. I've no doubt L.A. Reid fronted these "no promotion" threats and carried them out, but why would they want to continue to beat a multimillion dollar dead horse?
